Dashboard Builder

Dashboard Builder — the Intelligence Workspace — is where analysis becomes a live, shared view of the business. Compose KPI scorecards and charts from your datasets with field wells and live previews, cross-filter and drill to explore, and generate calm, factual AI briefings that respect your active filters. Then share or publish the result to your team with the access level you choose.

Compose live dashboards

Start from a dataset and build KPI scorecards and charts using field wells with live previews. Add charts and KPIs manually, or let the starter wizard and AI assistant assemble an executive dashboard in plain English — "create an executive dashboard from this dataset with the metrics that matter most."

  • Add charts and KPIs with field wells and live previews
  • Starter wizard or AI assistant builds a first version from a short brief
  • Everything stays live — edit, rename, and rearrange widgets anytime

Watch: build a dashboard from a dataset, cross-filter and drill, and generate an AI briefing.

Cross-filter and drill

Dashboards are interactive, not static. Click any chart bar to filter the whole canvas, or shift-click to drill into detail. Global slicers apply a filter across every widget at once, and a clear-all resets the view — so one dashboard answers many follow-up questions.

  • Click to cross-filter the entire canvas by a segment
  • Shift-click to drill into the detail behind a number
  • Global slicers filter every widget at once

AI-powered briefings

Generate a calm, factual summary of the dashboard that respects your active filters and widget context. Choose a tone — executive, operational, or technical — and the briefing highlights key takeaways and a breakdown, refreshing automatically as you edit.

Share and publish

Control exactly who can open a dashboard. Keep it private, share with anyone in your organization, or publish a link any signed-in Intelligence Navigator user can open — and set whether recipients can view only or manage. Invite specific teammates by email, and hand charts off to Presentations and Reports.

  • Private, organization-wide, or shareable-link access
  • View-only or can-manage permissions per person
  • Live refresh keeps shared dashboards current

Best practices

  • Start from a clean dataset in Data Hub so field wells map correctly
  • Use global slicers for the dimensions people filter most (region, period, segment)
  • Generate an executive-tone briefing for leadership snapshots
  • Share view-only links broadly; reserve can-manage for dashboard owners
