AI Operations Center

AI Operations Center is the second module of Automation. It is the ad-hoc analyst workspace: you describe what you want to know in plain language, it plans the work, runs deterministic statistical analysis, and returns a structured answer with charts. Pin live KPI and sentiment views to keep current numbers on screen. Scheduled reports and alert rules live in Sentinel Monitoring.

Describe the analysis in plain language

Select a connected DataHub dataset and type what you want to know — no setup or code required. One-time questions return an inline analytical answer with a chart. If the prompt looks like a recurring job, Operations sends you to Sentinel Monitoring instead of creating a scheduled agent.

  • One-time questions return an inline analytical answer with supporting detail
  • Create a KPI view or sentiment view from the right rail for live performance
  • Recurring reports and alert rules belong in Sentinel Monitoring

Watch: ask a question, get the chart, and pin a live KPI or sentiment view.

Deterministic statistical analysis, not guesswork

Every run executes real statistics against your dataset and reports the result with AI-generated insights in plain language. It surfaces trends, period-over-period changes, peaks and troughs, correlations, anomalies, and forecasts — and flags data-quality issues like missing values and outliers.

  • Trend and variance analysis with the largest single-period increases and decreases called out
  • Correlation, t-tests, chi-square, and ANOVA with p-values and significance levels
  • Anomaly detection for values outside the expected range, and forward forecasts with a projected horizon

Pin live KPI and sentiment views

Use Create KPI view or Create sentiment view in the right rail to pin auto-refreshing tiles on the same dataset. Views show current performance on screen. They do not email the team or fire when a threshold is crossed — that work lives in Sentinel Monitoring.

Save the output anywhere

Every analysis produces an analytical workspace report with key insights, risks, and recommended actions. Save it straight to a Dashboard, a Presentation, or Reports, or open the same result in KPI Analytics or Business Intelligence when you need deeper KPI scorecards and configurable BI workflows.

Best practices

  • Name the metric and date column explicitly so the orchestrator maps your request to the right fields
  • Add a date range ("last 30 days", "this quarter") to keep runs focused and fast
  • Give each question one clear job — a KPI read, a segment comparison, a sentiment check — rather than combining many goals in one prompt
  • Pin a live view for the metric you keep asking about instead of re-running the same question

Next steps

When you need a Monday digest, a threshold alert, or a scheduled anomaly brief, open Sentinel Monitoring — that is the monitoring system for alerts and scheduled workflows.
